The awards which honour people and businesses across lifestyle sectors such as hospitality, retail, health and beauty, nightlife and culture, are driven by popular opinion. First, people nominate their favourite businesses and then, based on initial voting, the TOPTENs in each category are decided, at this point public voting begins in earnest. The culmination of all the voting is a magical gala-night, where the good and great from the city gather in a stunning city ballroom to honour the year's finalists as the awards are presented to the winners.
